life is a trip! i have a group of friends that are full of life but they are consantly contradicting themselves and it is funny to see them at work. one day we were all sitting around and we were talking about the different college subcultures on campus and we got to talking about the anime lovers and gamers. I could not say many things bad about the two because i fall in both catergories myself but they were talking bad about them. they started talking about how their suite-mates were always paying their games all night long and they could hear them yelling at the other players online through the shared bathroom. and then they made fun of the guy who always wears a naruto head band and plays yugioh card games even though he is a grown man and that was something we did when we were still in middle school. and the way they said these things made me feel as if they really felt that this was something that was not advised to do.
But a week later i went to their rooms and all of them were around the tv playing a game on xbox that was based on a popular anime and it was hilarious. and this continued all day for almost a week and then they switched to another game where they played online and they started to yell at the screen whenever they lost as if that would change anything and i almost fell out of my chair. they had went from talking about those kinds of people to being them in a few weeks. one lesson learned everyone has traits that they don't like about themselves and they try to act as though they never have done a certain thing but in truth they always come out sooner or later.
what are you hiding in your life?
